
Bags and dark circles under the eyes can appear due to fatigue, insomnia, malnutrition or even heat. Cosmetics mask, but does not solve the problem. But there is a simple folk remedy that will help to noticeably refresh the eye in just half an hour, without expensive creams and patches.
The usual raw potatoes copes with edema and bruises perfectly. It contains starch, vitamin C and enzymes that brighten the skin, reduce swelling and improve microcirculation.
How to apply
- Clean and grate a small tuber on a fine grater.
- Wrap the gruel in 2 pieces of gauze or thin fabric to make peculiar compresses.
- Attach them to the lower eyelids and lie down for 15–20 minutes in a relaxed state.
- After the procedure, rinse off the residues with cool water and apply a light moisturizer.
If the bags are especially pronounced, put the compresses in the refrigerator for 5 minutes before use. This will enhance the effect, narrow the vessels and remove excess fluid from the tissues.
