In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, 42.6 billion rubles were allocated for cultural development

In the next three years, five children's art schools and seven leisure centers will be built in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the press service of the regional Ministry of Culture said.

The government of the region approved the program “Development of culture” for the period from 2026 to 2028. It involves the construction of art schools in the village of Nizhny Ingash, the cities of Uyar and Uzhur, as well as the villages of Karatuzskoye and Idrinskoye, leisure centers, the development of a project of a rural club and a visitor in the village of Barabanovo, the Emelyanovsky district.

“Financing the program for three years will amount to 42.6 billion rubles. Funds will be aimed at developing the infrastructure and material and technical base of cultural institutions: overhaul of rural cultural houses, modernization of libraries, construction of children's art schools, conducting annual festivals, concerts and much more, ”said Arkady Zinov, Minister of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

16.8 billion rubles were allocated for the repair and equipment of cultural institutions. This money will be directed to the construction of seven leisure centers in different areas of the region: Dzerzhinsk-Taseevo, Kuragino, Balakhta-Novosyolovo, Minusinsk and Achinsk. In addition, on the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk they will restore the organ hall (Decembrist, 20) and the Gadalov mansion (Paris Commune, 20), and in Kansk Chevelev’s house (Korosteleva, 2).

Also in the budget, funds for the prize are to best employees of the cultural sphere, artists and young talents. Since 2026, a subsidy will appear in the Krasnoyarsk Territory to the regional branch of the Russian Writers Union in the amount of 5.5 million rubles for participation in festivals and competitions, the publication of books of the authors of the region, as well as the local history almanac “Yenisei”.
