As the American-Canadian command, Russian planes-two Tu-95 bombers and two Su-35 fighters-were identified during the flight through the AdIZ zone, which is part of the international aircraft, but requiring identification of planes flying.

“Norad answered by using E-3, four F-16 and four tankers KC-135 to identify and intercepted (Russian machines) in the Alaska air defense identification zone,” the command was written in the command. E-3 is an early warning and supervision aircraft.

Norad noted that Russian aircraft did not enter the airspace of the USA or Canada. It has been added that similar cases with the participation of Russian aircraft occur regularly and are not perceived as a threat.

Similar incidents occurred three times in August, once in July and once in April. At that time, however, it was informed about individual Russian reconnaissance aircraft Ił-20. This time, the flight of Russian aircraft occurred at a time when several violations of the airspace of European NATO countries were recorded by Russian aircraft and drones.
