Megafon subscribers will be able to unite loved ones from any regions of Russia in one tariff

Megaphone launches the opportunity to combine native people from any regions in the “megashasmas”. Now users can include participants in the group, regardless of their place of residence and share with them gigabytes, minutes and SMS.

Earlier, the owners of Megasemy could add friends and relatives to it – MegaFon subscribers – only from their region or neighboring areas. The operator created a solution that made it possible to modify the service and provided customers with the opportunity to add participants registered to the group of participants in other regions. This is the first proposal of this format among the country's largest cellular companies.

To connect the option, the subscriber needs to go to the Megafon application to the Megasemia section, create it and indicate the name and phone number of the relative.

“The unification in one tariff of close people from different regions is not only the implementation of a complex technical solution, but also the erasing of geographical boundaries for our customers. Now Megashamia helps optimize the costs of communication within the group, even if you live at different parts of the country. We are convinced that such a decision will help our customers become even closer, ”comments Dmitry Rudski's commercial director Dmitry Rudski.

Megafon launched the Megashamia service in April 2023. With it, the operator’s clients can add relatives and friends to the group, and they can use the general packages of the Internet, minutes and SMS, while not paying for services. In addition, the participants will be available to common “megasils” – unlimited for popular applications, unlimited calls to MegaFon, bonus GB, additional packages of minutes and the Internet and the transfer of residues. You can add up to five participants to Megashamoy, while additional gigabytes will be added to the tariff for each participant in Megashami for free – up to 300 GB for all depending on the tariff.

Since the beginning of the year, the number of users who are actively divided by the tariff has grown by almost 25 %. Most often – in 58 % of cases – men become the organizers of Megasemi, and the most caring of them live in Taimyr and Yamalo -Nenets AO, Chechnya, Dagestan and the Magadan region. The most active age of the “creation” of “megasemi”, according to the analysts of MegaFon, came in 35-44 years.
