The story began in 2023, when the two families decided to marry two of their children. At that time, the bride was 16 years old and moved to the house of the one who became her husband, a young man who is 24 years old.
The boy's family paid for the girl the sum of 50,000 euros. A year after the wedding, she returned to the parental home and said she no longer wants to live in the houses.
Shortly after the girl returned to her parents, her husband's family asked for his money back. However, the young woman's family refused and later began the threats on both sides. According to tradition, if the bride returns home, her parents must return the amount offered to them.
Moreover, last year, the bride complained to the police that she was threatened by her husband and thus obtained a protection order for six months.
“Two years or more years ago, the two parties wanted to marry them, without the girl's parents agreeing to this marriage. The threats began: the cousins or nations of the boy always came to the girl and always threatens the parents that they would make discussions, that they will cut them, that they will kill them.”said the leader of the Roma, Vasile Velcu Nazdravan, for Antena 3 CNN.
The quarrels between the two families degenerated yesterday and, following the violence spent in the Romanian district, the bride's uncle was killed by the cousin of the son -in -law. The girl's husband did not participate in the scandal. According to Antena 3 CNN, he was at home and recently he was beaten by another girl's lover.
