Road traffic will be restricted on Saturday and Sunday on several boulevards and streets in Bucharest due to the development of cultural, sports and public assemblies, the authorities recommending bypass routes for drivers.

Road traffic will be restricted, on Saturday and Sunday, on several boulevards and streets in Bucharest, on the occasion of performing sport, cultural-artistic and public assemblies, according to the Capital Road Brigade, quoted by Agerpres.
On Saturday the cultural-sports event will be held “The Color Run Night Amazing Tour 2025 “on the following route: Start – Parking of the National Library – bd. Unirii – Alba Iulia Square – right on bd. Decebal – return to the intersection bd. Decebal with Dristorului street (without affecting the road traffic from the intersection of the streets of Delea Veche and Dristorul) – before bd. Decebal – Alba Iulia Square – return on bd. Unirii to the Serban Voda bridge (without affecting the road traffic from the intersection of IC Brătianu – Unirii Boulevard) – bd. Mircea Voda – Finish – Parking of the National Library.
Traffic restrictions on important arts in the capital
For the smooth running of the event, the following traffic restrictions will be instituted:
– between 08:00 – 24:00, on bd. Mircea Voda, the road segment between Mărăşeşti and bd. Unirii;
– between 5:00 pm and 23:00, on the competition route, as well as on the streets accessing this section.
The bypass routes announced by the Bucharest Road Brigade:
– Calea 13 September – bd. Tudor Vladimirescu – George Coşbuc Square – bd. Regina Maria – Splaiul Unirii;
– bd. Basarabia – Calea Călăraşilor – bd. Corneliu Coposu – Splaiul Independence;
– bd. Dimitrie Cantemir – Unirii passage – University Square.
On Saturday, the City Hall of Bucharest and Arcub – the Cultural Center of the Municipality of Bucharest will organize the cultural -artistic event dedicated to the project “Open streets – Bucharest, urban promenade” On Calea Victoriei, the segment between bd. Dacia and Splaiul Independence, without affecting road traffic in intersections.
For the smooth running of the event, the traffic of vehicles during the period mentioned above will be restricted, between 9:00 and 23:00.
During the restricted restrictions, the crossing on Calea Victoriei will be allowed, at the intersections with bd. Dacia, str. Ştirbei Voda, str. Ion Câmpineanu and bd. Queen Elisabeta.

– Victoriei Square – bd. Lascăr Catargiu – Roman Square – bd. Gheorghe Magheru – bd. Nicolae Bălcescu – University Square – bd. IC Brătianu – Unirii Square – Splaiul Independence;
– Victoriei Square – Str. Buzesti – Str. Berzei.
* On Saturday, between 11:00 am and 13:00, a public assembly will be held on the occasion of the Romanian Firefighters Day, consisting of commemorative activities, ceremonial for laying wreaths and flowering at the Fire Heroes Monument, located in the round in front of the Marriot hotel.
For the smooth running of the event, the road traffic will be restricted on Calea 13 September, the segment from Izvor street to Şos. Panduri.
* Saturday and Sunday, between 9:00 and 20:00, the sporting event will be organized “Greenfield Sports Festival”in the Greenfield neighborhood and the alleys in Baneasa Forest.
For the smooth running of the event, road traffic will be restricted on Saturday and Sunday, between 9:00 and 4:30, on Teişani alley and Vadul Moldovei street.
* Saturday and Sunday, between 10:00 – 22:00, Proedus – the Center for Educational and Sports Projects Bucharest, will organize the cultural -artistic event dedicated to the project “Open streets – Bucharest, Urban Promenade” on Calea Griviţei, the segment between Iulia Haşdeu street and bd. Dacia.
In this context, the traffic of vehicles will be restricted, starting on Friday, 22:00, until Monday, at 6.00.
On these sections will be carried out activities dedicated to the general public, namely mini street concerts, theater and dance performances, workshops for children, games, recreation and sports activities, lively statues, artists and urban creators, as well as relaxation areas.

* Sunday, between 7:00 and 6:00 pm, the sports event will be organized “Tour of Romania”as follows: the children's race on the route: Start Bd. Libertăţii – Splaiul Independence – Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu str. – Bd. United Nations – Finish Freedom.
The main race on the route: Start Bd. Freedom, between Splaiul Independence and Bd. The United Nations – Bogdan Petriceicu Hashdeu str. Mihail Kogălniceanu – Vasile Pârvan str. – Berzei street – Buzeşti str. – Victoriei Square – Calea Victoriei – United Nations Pod – Splaiul Independence (on the counter) – left bd. Finish freedom.
For the smooth running of the sports event, the road traffic will be restricted as follows:
– Sunday, between 7: 00-15: 00, on the traffic arteries on the route of the sports competition, as well as those accessing them;
– On bd. Freedom, between Splaiul Independence and Bd. The United Nations, on Saturday, 12:00, until Sunday, at 9:00 pm.
