After the murder of the right -wing activist Charlie Kirk, new details come to light. As reported on Friday at the press conference, Governor Utah Spencer Cox, the killer is 22-year-old Tyler Robinson. His father was to convince him to report to the police.
The young killer was supposed to accuse Kirk spreading hatred. An investigation is currently underway to determine what ultimately prompted him to commit a brutal act. Kirk Robinson has grown up and strengthened the problematic phenomenon – explicit hatred of political opponents that embraces the United States from left to right side of the political scene. Social media act here as a heater.
Especially on the right side of the political scene there are many famous people who already talk about “declaration of political war”justifying radical activities.
“They are with us at war,” said Jesse Watters presenter in Fox News. “Everyone is responsible and we watch what they say on TV and who says what” – he added. Watters talked about “politicians, the media and all these rats there outside.”
“The left is a part of the murder,” the head of Tesla, Elon Musk, wrote shortly after the assassination, on his platform X.
“Any left -wing group that finances brutal protests must be dissolved and drawn to criminal responsibility,” said political activist Laura Loomer. In her opinion, there is no “mercy” here, and every leftist who threatens political violence must be imprisoned. “We can't let these people live among us in society.”

The other side of the coin
“We are at war. Charlie Kirk gave his life for his country on the field of political struggle. He is a victim of war,” said political adviser Steve Bannon in the podcast “War Room”. He stated that the “cowardly liberal elite” took an activist because he was afraid of the truth.
It was mainly anonymous accounts that enjoyed the murder of Kirk.
Lewic users raised, for example, Kirk's position on the provisions regarding firearms in the USA. The activist Zellie Imani wrote on X: “Charlie Kirk is not a martyr. He is a victim of violence to which he incited himself.”
The self -proclaimed opponent of Trump, Ron Smith, published a film with Kirk from 2023, in which he speaks of the price of liberal weapons in the USA. “I think that it is worth accepting a few deaths caused by firearms each year, so that we can keep the second correction to the constitution. This is a wise move. This is reasonable,” said Kirk.
Trump himself plays a special role here. Rather, it heats the atmosphere than soothes the mood. Shortly after the incident, the president has already accused the “radical left”.

Donald Trump adds oil to the fire
In the video, the president said that “all Americans and media” must “look into the eyes, that violence and murders are a tragic effect of everyday, year after year, demonizing those with whom we do not agree, in the most hateful and contemptuous way.”
Trump regretted the comparisons “to the Nazis and the worst mass murderers”. This rhetoric is “directly responsible for the terrorism that we experience today in our country,” he said. Trump remained silent, however, that Political violence in the USA occurs both on the left and on the right of the political scene.
His two democratic predecessors behave differently. “In our country there is no place for this kind of violence,” said Joe Biden. “It must end now.” Barack Obama also emphasized: “This kind of hideous violence does not take place in our democracy.”
Political scientist Michael Jensen from the University of Maryland is concerned. In an interview with the BBC he warned that the United States is currently in very dangerous situation: Attack on Kirka “can be used as a kind of inflammatory point that will encourage subsequent such acts.”
EXTREMism expert Jon Lewis from the University of George Washington told the Reuters agency: “Extreme political violence is becoming more and more norm in our country, and the shooting of Charlie Kirk is a symptom of a much larger and more extensive problem: acts of violence are becoming more and more frequent, even without a clear ideology or motive.” Lewis warns against the “devil's spiral” of violence.
