Serious accident on the Bucharest – Pitești highway. Four adults and a minor arrived at the hospital
A serious road accident took place on the Bucharest – Pitești highway, at km 35, between Florești and Stoenești. Eight people were involved, and two of them were incarcerated. Authorities have activated the red intervention plan.

ISU Giurgiu informs that it is about five victims, four adults and a minor, who were transported to the hospital, for specialized investigations.
Meanwhile, the red intervention plan has been disabled.

A very serious road accident occurred on Saturday, August 30, on the 1st Highway – Pitești, at kilometer 35, on the way to Pitești, between the localities of Florești and Stoenești. In the collision were involved two cars, in which there were eight people.
According to the first information provided by ISU Giurgiu spokesman, two of the victims were incarcerated. Given the large number of persons involved in the accident and the complexity of the situation, the authorities activated the red intervention plan.
Several intervention crews were sent to the scene: a special extinguisher equipped with the discharge mode, two SMURD ambulances from ISU Giurgiu, as well as two ambulances belonging to the County Ambulance Service.
In support, the local forces were supplemented with a mobile intensive care unit and two more SMURD ambulances from ISU Bucharest-Ilfov.
The intervention is still in progress, and the rescue teams make efforts to provide first aid and transport victims to specialized medical units.
The traffic is currently blocked, and the situation remains dynamic.
