Judge CCR Iuliana Scântei explains the cancellation of the elections: “I'm sorry that the CCR did not find the opportunity to apologize”

Laura-Iuliana Scântei, a judge at the Constitutional Court of Romania, explained on Tuesday, August 19, in Râșnov, in a debate, how to cancel the elections.

During the discussion, a member of the public asked the judge Laura-Iuliana Scântei about the reasons that were the basis of the CCR decision on the annulment of the elections.

Regarding the methods used today in election campaigns, including those on the Internet, the judge also said “The world moved faster than the national legislation and the duties of the authorities in the field moved ”.
The judge also explained that, after the outbreak of the Ukraine war, the Law for national security was amended. Has been completed with two categories of national risks: hybrid war and state and non-state actions of propaganda and misinformation,
