“Bucharest was another world then, with an active social life. You could go out in the city every day of the week. Now it is no longer. At Planters, in Amzei Square, it was the exact time. It was a show, you could not enter. We all met: Lobonț, Pancu, Chivu.

The biggest stupidity I did? When I showed, after a goal, a shirt with a naked woman. Now I would get alone for this, as my father beat me then, ”said Vlad Munteanu.

If we gather the young players from 4 football clubs and compare what they are doing now with what we were doing, we do not reach the nail at the little finger. It's not something to praise, so were the times. Paparazzi were not like now, people didn't judge you so aggressive …

“Victor Becali told us that Dănciulescu fell in Dâmbovița”

In the spring of 2002, Ionel Dănciulescu, a colleague with Vlad Munteanu in Dinamo, had a road accident, had a car, a Mitsubishi Pajero, in Dâmbovița, at midnight, on a Saturday. The excessive speed and the slippery road designed the car on the sidewalk, the car flying over the safety fence next to the Ciurel bridge. Dănciulescu came out of the car through the left window, then was taken by a passerby to the University Hospital.

“Do you remember when Dănciulescu fell in Dâmbovița by car? That night, I was with Giani Kiriță and Adrian Mihalcea, at the baby and Victor Becali. When I saw him leaving, I asked him where he was going and replied: “I go to the hospital, that Dănciulescu dropped by car in Dâmbovița.”

Immediately we went after him to the hospital, to support him. We had nothing to do with Dănciulescu then, we just went to the hospital to support him. Camaraderie from the perspective of the locker room. Victor knew where we were, Giovanni sent us a bottle of champagne, mystery Dinu the same. The pursuit began when the Craiova lot came ”, recalls Vlad Munteanu.
