The technician complained about the manner of the refereeing and alleged that he saw a “sign” before the start of the match which led him to believe that the refereeing was going to disadvantage him.

In the studio of the show “Footbal Club” from Digi Sport, the moderator Radu Naum suggested that it would be about Mihai Stoichiță, the technical director of the FRF.

Gică Popescu, after Farul lost the victory in the last minute: “You can't referee like that!”

I, so, as a single reproach… the manner of arbitration was certainly not in our favor. Ungiven fouls for us, we also got yellows, they didn't get anything. You can't arbitrate like that, with two different units of measure. It certainly wasn't the refereeing that influenced the outcome.

We played a good game, we shut them down in the lanes. We had goal situations, we deserved to win. I don't completely agree with Ianis, but the manner was not the same for both teams.

I know what Ianis was referring to, but I wouldn't want to get into arguments. (no asked if he meant Mihai Stoichiță) I don't know, I was on the other side, I don't know. We might be subjective. When you're sitting in front of the TV it's easier, but when you're involved… Let's stop arbitrating because we're hitting on others“, said Gică Popescu, according to digisport.ro.

I knew today's sign, I saw it before the match. Nothing, nothing. I saw something today and said that the arbitration will be like this. I told mine, they know. I don't want to say. I went outside, saw something and told them so. It's weird. Quite simply, I was a visionary. I saw it myself.
