“Excuse me, I'm very emotional. We're very happy. We're happy to finish today, but we have to go to Rapid to win. I'm glad my dream came true today, it's been a year's work and I'm happy.
I didn't think we were going to win like that, but before the game I told my teammates in the locker room to remember the tour game, how we felt that week because it was a painful defeat. We talked then that we are waiting for the return match, that we will win, but not that we will do it just like that.
After every game we thought we could be champions. Even after the 4-0 defeat we felt strong. We are a united group, we have a very strong team spirit. I am happy for the colleagues who played less because they always trained 100%. The competition made us train better.
We are in talks to extend the contract, the season is not over. If we get along, I'll definitely stay. There's a very good chance I'll stay. I concentrated on what I had to do. We've been talking for a long time, but I always told them that I want to win the Cup and the championship, to make history, and then we'll sit down and discuss”, said Adrian Rus during the flash interview on the Fotbal Club show on Digi Sport.
