Biedronka focuses on photovoltaics. Panels for over 2,000 stores

Biedronka has equipped over 2,000 stores in Poland with solar installations – the Biedronka network said in a press release. It was indicated that in June 2025 the network achieved a record result in terms of renewable energy production in its facilities throughout the country – 17,500 MWh.

As part of the long -term sustainable development strategy, Biedronka also implements photovoltaic solutions in distribution centers. Currently, solar panels operate in 8 out of 17 objects.

“Thanks to investments in solar installations, Biedronka can supply its stores with clean energy immediately. About 16 percent of total energy consumption in stores equipped with PV installations comes from the sun today” – it was written. (PAP Biznes)
