The State Duma plans to introduce a bill on the ban on feeding homeless animals in some places. This was announced Deputy Alexander Spiridonov at a meeting of the working group of the Committee of the Chamber of Parliament to protect the family, paternity, motherhood and childhood.
Restrictions will concern territories near apartment buildings, as well as organizations of culture, social services, education, health and sports. In addition, the authorities of subjects will be able to independently expand this list.
For violation, administrative liability is provided – a warning or a fine of 3 thousand to 5 thousand rubles, writes RBC.
Together with the restriction of feeding, deputies want to make several more initiatives. Among them, for example, a ban on imposing the capture of homeless animals, as well as responsibility for failure to notify about them in certain facilities, for example, enterprises. Violation of these rules will be punished with a similar fine.
Now the bill is being finalized. It is assumed that today, July 22, it will be brought to the State Duma for consideration.
