The MTS network covered another 60 small villages in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

New telecom equipment provides high-speed mobile Internet for all important infrastructure facilities, including post offices, schools, first aid stations and other institutions.

On average, about 400 people live in each settlement. In the smallest of them, in the village of Ust-Tunguska in the Yenisei Okrug, just over two hundred people live. The largest village, Osinovy Mys, Boguchansky District, has about 1,700 residents.

Most of the small villages and villages were connected in the Uzhursky, Mansko-Uyarsky and Kuraginsky districts. Among the settlements there are also the oldest ones – for example, the villages of Temra and Khloptunovo of the Sharypovsky and Bolshemurtinsko-Sukhobuzimsky districts. The first mentions of these settlements date back to the 17th century; agriculture became the main occupation of the population.

“In 2025, our signalmen carried out large-scale work in different parts of the region. We digitized another 60 settlements, where more than 27 thousand people live, as part of a large project to build a 4G network in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Stable communications and mobile Internet have also appeared in tourist locations – in particular, near one of the largest bays of the Krasnoyarsk reservoir – Syda Bay, from the villages of Beloyarsk and Novaya Syda. The coverage area also included important social facilities – schools, kindergartens and medical and obstetric centers, where local residents go for medical help,” said Sergei Yegoshin, director of MTS in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Previously, MTS closed “white spots” on popular routes in the Krasnoyarsk Territory – on sections of regional and municipal highways “Yenisei Tract”, “Sharypovo – Uzhur – Balakhta”, “Sayan”, “Kuragino – Cheremshanka”, “Minusinsk – Bellyk” and others.
