A dry vegetation fire broke out in a forest fund in the Țibleș Mountains, in a hard-to-reach area, informed, Wednesday evening, the spokesman of ISU Maramures, Adriana Şanta.

“At this time, over 20 firefighters from the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations Maramureș, together with workers of the Forest District, move to the place where the fire is manifested, in a hard-to-reach area (…) the affected area has not been determined exactly so far. The mission is dynamic.”said Adriana Şanta, according to Agerpres.
At the same time, two helicopters of the General Aviation Inspectorate will support the mission of the ground intervention teams.
“A Black Hawk helicopter of the General Aviation Inspectorate is already on the way to the affected area, to support the extinguishing efforts in the air. Another IGAV helicopter performs an air recognition mission, to provide operative crews an overview of outbreaks.” said Adriana Şanta.
Also, Salvamont Maramureș teams are ready to intervene, at the request of the authorities, in support of the operative forces in the field.
