In Khakassia, a criminal case was opened on the fact of the death of a young girl in a summer camp.
The Investigative Department of the IC of the Russian Federation said that a 10-year-old girl was resting in the Bagunik camp in Abaza and on June 26 complained about poor health. The child began to nausea, the temperature rose. Therefore, she was urgently hospitalized in a local hospital. Doctors made a preliminary diagnosis – poisoning with an unidentified substance.
On July 1, the girl’s condition worsened sharply. Despite the resuscitation measures, it was not possible to save her, she died in the hospital.
The Investigative Department of the SK noted that other children in the camp were not injured, no one had complaints about poor health.
A criminal case has been instituted on the fact of causing death by negligence (part 1 of article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). In the criminal case, a forensic medical examination was appointed to establish the cause of the death of the child.
Currently, the necessary investigative actions are carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident. As part of the investigation, a legal assessment of the quality of the provision of services in a health institution will be given.
