The possibility of creating a multifunctional object on the right bank of Krasnoyarsk and the general concept of the institution was presented to the acting head of the city Alexei Shuvalov. The youth center wants to open in the former building of the University of Reshetnev on the avenue to them. newspapers “Krasnoyarsk Worker”. A two -story building with a total area of ​​3,000 square meters was transferred to the city a little more than a year ago. Currently, an examination of the technical condition of the facility is being completed in order to decide on its further operation.

“According to preliminary results, emergency sites were not detected. In this connection, it is already possible to conclude that all detected defects can be eliminated as part of the proposed reconstruction, ”said Ilya Polyakov, head of the survey department of buildings and structures of the contractor.

The creation of a new youth center is one of the priority options for using the building in the future. First of all, this is due to the need to develop infrastructure for youth, which lives on the right bank.

“Krasnoyarsk is a city of young, a quarter of the population of the capital of the region – residents aged 14 to 35 years. It is important for us to support them, create conditions for self -realization. The governor of the region set special tasks in this direction, ”said Alexei Shuvalov. – Today, 9 youth centers are operating in Krasnoyarsk, the points of their presence in the new microdistricts are created, the recent example is the center in quiet dawns. Last year, more than 85,000 young people were involved in the activities of centers. Given this demand, it is necessary to launch new projects. The city will continue to work on this task. ”

The area of ​​the premises will allow you to place in one place more than 10 different functional zones and sites that meet all modern requests and interests of the younger generation. It is planned to equip a large hall for concerts, lectures, master classes, as well as open a cafe, a simulator and dance halls, a sound recording studio, a workshop, and coworking.

A VR laboratory can become a new space for the city, where, with the help of virtual reality, children will be able to “try on” various professions, which is important for career guidance of schoolchildren. The space will make it possible to additionally involve up to 15,000 young people per year in various projects and events.
