Doctors say that it could also be a consequence of the wave of viruses during this period, especially since one of the children who showed symptoms was absent from kindergarten, according to ProTV news.

The preschoolers started feeling sick right after the lunch provided by a catering company, which they took to the kindergarten. A few hours later they arrived at the Emergency Department.

For some of them, the parents called the ambulance at home.

“At 6 o'clock the child started to say that his stomach hurts, around 10 he vomited for the first time and from then he calmed down for ten minutes, a quarter of an hour, and started crying that his stomach hurts“, a parent explained to the cited source.

“Vomiting since 7 o'clock and I thought he was getting better, and he threw up, we gave him treatment and we had to come to the emergency room”, said a grandfather:

According to the doctors, the children also benefited from infectious disease consultation and are now hemodynamically balanced.

Several investigations were opened on Wednesday to identify the cause of the medical problems.

Teams from DSPP Mehedinți and DSVSA carried out checks both at the educational unit and at the catering service provider, from where food samples and sanitation samples were collected.

What did the children eat?

The little ones ate soup and potatoes with chicken meat, but a little girl who was absent that day also arrived at the hospital and did not taste the dishes.

Laboratory analyzes will clarify, in the following days, the reason for the children's illness.

We remind you that, a few years ago, 19 children between the ages of 10 and 14, from several classes at General School no. 3 from the Pechea – Galaţi commune, complained of being unwell, being transported to the Children's Hospital in Galaţi. The fault was the spoiled milk distributed at the school.

In the summer of last year, 15 people – adults and children – arrived at the hospital with food poisoning, after eating in the restaurant of a hotel in Mamaia.
