Mark Rutte: The new NATO goal is 5 percent GDP for defense


The decision was made in front of the NATO summit in Hague, which will take place on June 24-25. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte announced that all the countries included in the Alliance agreed that the new goal for this organization would be 5 percent.
The provision regarding such a commitment is to be included in the final declaration of the summit.
