The day of three witches did not bring supernatural phenomena of the Warsaw dance floor. It seems that this time “witches” were limited to conquering the volume of trading.
The third Friday of the last month of the quarter is a session, after which a series of timely contracts and options for shares and indexes expire. In the stock market jargon it is called “the day of three witches”. This is because on the market they can then give strange things, difficult to clarify on the basis of “foundations”. However, this time it was quite calm. Perhaps this is due to the calendar, which with the free of work Thursday both in Poland and in the US rewarded the funding of a 4-day weekend.
Yes, at the end of the Friday session on the WSE, there was a slightly higher variability and strange changes in WIG-U20. But all this was within a dozen or so points. WIG20 itself ended a week at 2,735.44 points, i.e. 0.47% above Wednesday's reference rate. In the eye, increased turnover on the wide market was caught on the PLN 3.75 billion, of which PLN 3.18 billion fell on companies from WIG20.
Actions of Kęty (+2.1%), JSW (+1.8%), Orlen (+1.5%) and PZU (+1.1%) stood out positively in the group of blue chips. There were 13 values in the plus, and 7 ended the day under the line. Pepco papers (by 1.6%) and Allegro (-1.7%and Budimex (-1.4%) were most overestimated.

But today, Enea's shares went down by over 5%, Tauron by 3.2%, but PGE only by 0.3%. The WIG-Energia industry index scored a decrease by a 2.2% after Wednesday set the decaded maximum.
The realization of profits in the energy sector harmed the MWIG, which ended the session just below the line. But SWIG80 managed to gain 2.3%, relieving the delicate correction in force since mid -May. WIG gained 0.47% and returned to six -digit values. It is worth paying attention to the statistics of the session, during which at least the annual minimum set 11 values, while only one achieved the annual minimum.
