Summer ends with a bang: an unusual increase in unemployment (despite the season conducive to employment), the fiscal offensive of the government, gymnastics over the budget 2026, a carousel vexed by Karol Nawrocki by laws, and this is only news from our Polish yard. We present a summary of the week in charts.

The end of August brought a tax offensive from the Ministry of Finance. The government would like to strongly raise taxes to finance excessive public expenses and a powerful next year's budget deficit. The only question is whether he will succeed.
