The TAPP story begins in 2015, when the entrepreneur Ionuț Nistoroiu launches this brand, starting from 0 in a market at the beginning, but with a clear vision: responsible business and without compromises. A few years after its establishment, the TAPP portfolio has expanded, covering not only corners and consumables for ice cream, but also ingredients, equipment and packaging. Also, the key element of the TAPP portfolio is the specialized consultancy it offers.

Over the years, TAPP has been a support in the launch of many well-known brands in the Gelato and Pastry industry. The TAPP mission was to support and get involved directly in the development of the business of the small artisans in the country and to contribute to their development. “We did not only provide products, we built businesses with artisans”according to Ionuț Nistoroiu.

In recent years, TAPP has become a reference name for brands that emphasize authentic taste, clean ingredients and solid partnerships. In the ten years of activity, TAPP has helped increase big names in the Gelato and Pastry industry, such as Sweetology, Vice Cream, Friddi, Velocita, Puro Vero and many more. For each of these brands, TAPP meant more than a supplier: it was a partner involved in defining the taste, working pace and delivery standard. One of the basic missions of Tapp Gelato is to bring real satisfaction to its customers. Because each element matters, we offer increased attention, including cornets and packaging, providing cornets without palm oil and biodegradable packaging.

Regarding the equipment, TAPP offers access to some of the best performing brands in the industry: ice cream gel, shock-free and freezers, orion showcases, turbomixers and specialized accessories for professional laboratories. Currently, TAPP is in progress of a project with one of the largest players in the Bakery industry. “I was with brands that are today's market leaders. We learned from each collaboration and built together. TAPP remains the partner who does not deliver, but also confidence, expertise and adapted solutions.” Ionuț Nistoroiu confesses.

Regarding the goal for 2025-2026, TAPP aims to increase with 40% of Horeca's own portfolio, as well as to expand the distribution in Central and Eastern Europe. Another important objective is the development of an online B2B platform, which contains tools to simplify the order placement process. Also, on November 8-10, 2025, TAPP will be present at “Horeca Insight 2025”, organized at Hala Laminor, an event dedicated to entrepreneurs in the field.

Among the strategic objectives for the next two years, TAPP emphasizes the increase of sustainability, an essential pillar in the new direction of the company. According to the founder, the plans include the extension of the use of biodegradable packaging and the implementation of an electric fleet for national deliveries – concrete steps to a more ecologically responsible business model. Financially, a turnover of 2 million euros is estimated for 2025, with a growth projection up to 2.5 million euros in 2026. This evolution reflects the consolidation of the position on the B2B market and the increasing confidence from the Gelato & Pastry field.
