In Paris, it was confirmed that the leaders of the USA, Ukraine, France and Great Britain met after a photo of four leaders published the press services of Wołodymyr Zelanski.
The meeting was “positive” – added the Elysee Palace, which reported the event.
Shortly later, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha said that a meeting of Zelanski and Macron took place. The presidents of Ukraine and France discussed further efforts to peace.
Earlier on Saturday Wołodymyr Zelanski announced his bilateral meeting with Donald Trump. He assessed them as “good” and “symbolic”. The leaders' conversation lasted about 15 minutes.
Americans are the main negotiator of peace in Ukraine with Russia. In turn, France and Great Britain are at the head of the so -called Coalitions of volunteers, i.e. countries that would engage in maintaining a truce between Ukraine and Russia if it occurs.
Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin are dragging the rope
On Saturday, Vladimir Putin was to confirm his readiness to negotiate with Ukraine without preliminary conditions at a meeting with the American representative of the White House – Reuters said. At the same time, Donald Trump's entry appeared, in which the US president threatens Putin with sanctions.
“Perhaps a secondary sanctions or a banking system should be used against Putin” – said the US president quoted by the agency.
“There has been no reason for Putin to fire civil areas, cities and towns over the past few days,” wrote Donald Trump on the Truth Social platform on Saturday. “It makes me think that he may not want to stop the war,” he said.
