43 percent respondents intend to spend a vacation in Poland, and another 31 percent indicates the so -called Hybrid trips connecting stay in the country and abroad. Only 12 percent respondents declared a trip only outside Poland.

National rest is most often chosen by people aged 25-34. 8 percent respondents plan to vacation outside the main summer season, and 5 percent There are no specific vacation plans yet. Vacation of the outside is usually planned by people aged 65+ who avoid holiday crowds.

Every second person makes the decision on a holiday trip to a maximum of three months in advance.

“I am glad that our country is such an eagerly chosen direction of travel – not only by foreign guests, but also by Polish tourists. From year to year we see more and more interest in discovering Polish regions, and not only in relation to popular places, but also those not obvious,” said the president of the Polish tourist organization Rafał Szmytke quoted in a press release.

West Pomerania is the most frequently chosen region for this year's holiday – it is 22 percent. all reservations. 11 percent respondents pointed to Sudetes, 8 percent – Central Pomerania. The Tri -City was indicated by 7 percent. respondents, and Podhale – 6 percent Kołobrzeg dominates among cities, ahead of Gdańsk, Kraków, Zakopane and Szklarska Poręba.

“These results confirm that classic destinations are still attracting the most guests, although less obvious locations are also becoming more and more popular. The facilities located outside the main tourist routes are responsible for 13 % of all holiday reservations for 13 percent of all holiday reservations,” the company carried out the study.

The report shows that guests are increasingly choosing places with a unique atmosphere and local character. According to Rafał Szmytke, the tourist offer in Poland corresponds to the diverse needs of tourists, and often surprises with the quality of services.

“Tourists, both foreign and domestic ones, appreciate our country not only because of the unique and varied natural values, the versatility of the tourist offer or wonderful cuisine. Poland also has a perfectly prepared accommodation base and infrastructure at the highest world level – also for practicing increasingly popular active tourism. However, the greatest treasure of our country is people with their legendary hospitality.”

According to experts, Poles better understand the benefits of previous decisions regarding the choice of place and form of rest.

“A significant proportion of Poles still book holidays at the last minute, and the largest peak falls right after the end of the school year. However, we see the growing awareness that earlier planning gives real benefits. While waiting with the decision, we limit the choice-the best hotels and rooms and the most attractive terms disappear as the first, and flexibility in changes or cancellations is getting smaller,” said the director in the Profitroom.

Data from the reservation system show that the number of reservations is at this point higher by 29 percent. Compared to last year, with only 1 % increase in the average booking value.

“Prices remain stable, which in combination with the growing quality of services makes the national hotel offer more and more attractive for guests. Good news is also a dynamically decreasing cancellation rate. The average length of stay has not changed and is less than five days. Guests of the country still have the advantage” – the company said.

Although half of the respondents declared that they spend their holidays with children, data from the booking system show that the most commonly reserved configuration is trips for two – it is 36 percent. all reservations for the summer 2025. Family trips were: 2+2 and 2+1.

In total, couples and singles are responsible for over 40 percent. holiday reservations, which shows that traveling without children today has as strong position as family rest. (PAP)
