The newspaper Cristian Tudor Popescu reacted on Monday after the former candidate of the ruling coalition in the presidential elections, Crin Antonescu, said that “we are in front of a well -known evil, Nicuşor Dan, and an unknown evil” at the May 18.

“I congratulate Mr. Crin Antonescu. I am a voter of Crin Antonescu in the first round, who, in round 2, votes Mr. Nicușor Dan. Mr. Antonescu tells us that he cannot choose between N. Dan, a well-known evil, and G. Simion, an unknown evil, while G. Simion has to do something that I have to do. So bezmetic and irrational that he does not vote for me, ”wrote the newspaper on his Facebook page, citing George Simion who, in an unprecedented message posted on his blog, attacked his opponents.

“Mr. Antonescu, G. Simion No. Not to do anything, for he was sheltered ethically between the known evil and the unknown evil. Mr. Antonescu proves that he is more intelligent and more prudent than us.

On Sunday night, at Antena 3 CNN, Crin Antonescu commented that the Romanians “have two variants in front that are by far not the hope of hope”. He says he'll go and vote.

“This is a political matter and we simply said we were generally in the face of elections in which it has already become proverbial to vote for the youngest evil. We are not in front of a larger and younger evil now, but we are in front of a known evil, Mr. Nicuşor Dan, those who are behind him, and I named them in another post. The known evil, too well known and an evil that we each estimate more or less, ”said Crin Antonescu.
