Csikszereda, occupying the first place in the Play-off of League 2, publicly presented the figures of the fiscal balance for 2024. The club registered a huge profit, and the revenues are 8.6 million euros, as are those of the University of Cluj, a formation from the Superligi Play-off.
Csikszereda is an authoritarian leader in the Play-off of the League 2, with 52 points. On the second place is the Steaua, which has no right to promote, and the 3rd place is occupied by FC Argeș, which is 8 points behind the leader, with 6 stages before the end. The first 2 places promote directly in the superlig and is only a matter of time until Csikszereda will officially promote in the first Romanian football level.

Csikszereda presented the figures of the financial balance on 2024
Csikszereda made its financial balance for 2024. Last year, the Club from Miercurea Ciuc reported revenues worth 8.6 million euros, exceeding detached clubs that evolve into superlig.
Equally with U Cluj, Csikszereda has surpassed the revenues of Superliga clubs as:
-
FC Botosani – 5.95 million euros
-
UTA Arad – 5.7 million euros
-
Galati steel – 5.6 million euros
-
Ploiești Oil – 4.9 million euros
-
Gloria Buzău – 3.65 million euros
-
Unirea Slobozia – 2.4 million euros
Csikszereda also recorded much higher revenues than the other teams in the second league play-off. FC Argeș reported a budget of 3.35 million euros, CSM Reșița 1.8 million euros, and the star 1.6 million euros.
Much of the financing of the club in Miercurea Ciuc is directly provided by the Hungarian government, as well as in the case of the Superliga band, Sepsi.
The club in Sfântu Gheorghe had huge receipts in 2024, about 13.3 million euros. Sepsi was exceeded by only 3 teams from Superliga, FCSB, Rapid and CFR Cluj.
