The moment of the accident in Făurei, in which a utility vehicle was violently hit by a minibus. One person died and another 12 are injured
One man died and another 13 people were transported to the hospital on Wednesday morning, after a minibus and a utility vehicle collided, on DN 2B, in the area of Făurei in Brăila county. The violent impact was filmed on the surveillance cameras.
The accident took place on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, around 5.00, in the area of Făurei, on DN 2B, being involved a minibus and a utility vehicle.
Following the violent impact, the driver of the utility vehicle died on the spot, and his 16 -year -old son was seriously injured. Another 12 people, passengers in the minibus, were seriously injured and transported to the Brăila Emergency Hospital.
The minibus had left Galați and was full of passengers who went to Otopeni Airport.
On the spot, crews of the ambulance, SMURD and unloading from ISU Brăila traveled.
“From the first researches carried out on the spot, it turned out that a 54-year-old man from Suceava County, while driving a utility vehicle on DJ 203, from the direction of Făurei to Ulmu, at the intersection with DN 2B, would have collided with a minibus led by a 44-year-old man. Ambulance, SMURD and unloading within the ISU Danube Brăila, being transported to the hospital 12 victims from the minibus and a passenger from a utility vehicle ”, transmitted IPJ Braila.

The Infotrafic Center of the Romanian Police announced that the traffic was diverted by the locality to carry out the medical intervention and research the circumstances of the accident.
