higher costs for entrepreneurs. How to prepare?

According to the data of the Ministry of Finance, the total total amount of the contributions in question may in 2026 approach 24,000. PLN per year. This is directly related to the expected increase in the minimum wage, which shapes the basis for calculating ZUS contributions for enterprises.
The Bankier.pl report cited in the article reports that the increase in social security receivables is to result primarily from the growing base from which these amounts are calculated. The growing average salary in the national economy is of key importance here, which is always used to determine the level of these contributions.
According to the predictions of the Ministry of Finance, which Biznesinfo.pl writes about, in three years the average gross salary is expected to be PLN 9,656. According to the regulations, the basis of contributions is determined by 60 percent. from this forecast, which translates into PLN 5793.60. Expected load increase
The basis set in this way will directly translate into higher social security fees – retirement, disability, voluntary disease and accident. The amounts will be finally confirmed at a later date, but already specialists agree that people running small companies or working in the self -employment model will notice a strong increase in operating costs.
The disclosed calculations show that in 2026 the pension contribution will be 1PLN 130.91disability PLN 463.49, voluntary disease contribution PLN 141.94and accidental PLN 96.75. In addition, you will have to drain PLN 141.94 for the Labor Fund.
The total monthly receivable can therefore reach 1975.03 ofł, which gives around 23 thousand PLN 700.36. It is over 2,000 PLN more than in 2025, when the total amount was estimated at 21 thousand. PLN 287.52
Possible contributory and unknown holidays
Some company owners can help so -called contributory holidays, the introduction of which is being considered. If such a proposal is implemented, then the total obligations to ZUS could fall to 21 thousand. PLN 725.33 – still higher than in the current system, but still below the standard premium planned for 2026, sums up businessinfo.pl.
Despite this, there is still a guarantee that these ideas will actually come into force. Regulation projects are still only at the stage of plans, and the government has not yet announced the final amount of the minimum wage. It should also be remembered that in 2024 the Labor Ministry accepted a higher rate than the one postulated by trade unions, which may indicate that a more expansive solution would also be adopted in the future.
Increasing costs for entrepreneurs
Additional contributions are one more challenge when running a business is becoming more and more expensive anyway – writes businessinfo.pl. For some people working on their own, this may mean the need to make changes to the company's strategy or even more carefully controlling expenses.
Specialists suggest to check their budget and prepare for any increases. Permanent loads are constantly growing, which can be particularly difficult for people conducting sole proprietorships. That is why it is worth looking at available forms of support or concessions before new recommendations come into force.
