China wants to participate in the UN peacekeeping forces in Ukraine. Mixed reactions

In Brussels, the Beijing plan met with mixed response. According to some, the inclusion of the countries of the Global South could favor acceptance of the stationing of foreign peace forces – the portal reported.
On the other hand, “there is also a risk that China will primarily want to spy on Ukraine, and in the case of the conflict they will be clearly pro -Russian, not neutral,” said the high -ranking EU diplomat familiar with the ongoing discussions.
Zełenski says “no”
The “Moscow Times” portal reminded that earlier President Wołodymyr Zelnski announced that Kyiv will not agree to the participation of Beijing in forces to ensure Ukraine's security guarantees after the end of Russian aggression. According to him, China, which is a signatories to the Budapest Memorandum, not only did not support Kiev at the beginning of the war, but on the contrary, they helped the Kremlin, “opening the drone market.”
From the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Beijing has supported Moscow, buying oil for billions of dollars and providing precise armament components and double use products. Both sides present their partnership as “boundless”, although China declare neutrality in the war of Russia with Ukraine.
