Active member of the Civic Society, the artist Tudor Chirilă posted a message on his Facebook account on Tuesday, June 3, which shows his revolt against those who tried to find a justification for Robert Lupu, who killed Teodora Marcu, attributing some of the victim. “You can't raise your children like that. You can't think so,” he wrote, pointing out that “this is another kind of monstrosity, which denotes a cynicism and a lack of empathy with the disease, the pathology.”

“A twenty -year -old woman, mother, wifepregnant in six months is shot in front of his three -year -old girl she was holding. The criminal, a former boyfriend, followed her and harassed for years, both on her and her husband. He shoots it, then committed suicide. This is a tragedy. After all the criteria that make up the definition in the dictionary. A tragedy.

A three -year -old child will remain marked by life by the absurd, incomprehensible, horrible and terrifying image of his mother who collapses in the blood, without her life. Probably our imagination power is too small to understand what happened in the soul of this little girl, but especially what will be with her. The hundreds of hours or days of therapy will never be able to delete the horrible movie that will run in the loop all your life. That's a tragedy. A tragedy. A tragedy that has stumbled over time, fed by the silence of the police, of some police, people, of all those who witnessed this violence that has progressively degenerated.

A woman pregnant in six months was shot with cold blood in front of her three -year -old daughter. There is nothing after this sentence but maybe a prayer or thought for the soul of this girl and her children.

And yet I saw and heard comments that find mitigating circumstances to this monstrosity (that the past, the behavior, the job, the attitude) transferring much of the crime to the victim, which after any normal mind is unacceptable.

And this is another kind of monstrosity. To leave such a comment with nonchalance and then to see your life quietly, maybe even family, crossing you by a church or praying for the souls of your sleeping, this denotes a cynicism and a lack of empathy with the disease, with the pathology.

Good people, there is nothing Christian in such a justification of a crime. Nothing, absolutely nothing, from the ten commandments to “Eli, Eli, Lama Sabactani?” Nothing.

This only pavement to the violence of other individuals who look at the shadow as part of society is willing to morale their possible crimes.

You can't grow your kids like that. You can't think so. And where people fail where institutions should not be done. The education that collapses under our eyes, crushes and moral benchmarks of the most obvious sense like that one such a crime cannot, should not be justified. What to say, to forgive us the God we pray after we blame the victim.

Today in Victoriei Square people gather to ask the state to be truly protected by domestic violence, and femicide is incriminated“, The artist said on Facebook.

We remind you that on Tuesday, June 3, several civic organizations, among which the Center of Branch, the Center for Legal Resources, Feminism Romania, the Center for Independent Journalism and the Center for Public Innovation, announced the organization of a protest in Victoriei Square.

All this comes after the crime that shocked an entire country on Saturday night, when Teodora Marcu, the pregnant young woman walking with her 3 -year -old daughter in the Cosmopolis residential district, was deadly shot by her ex -boyfriend, who later committed suicide.
