Training of Romanian Air Force. There will be low altitude flights throughout the country for a week
The Romanian Air Forces carry out, these days, a series of air training at small heights and supersonic flights with F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft, throughout the country.

The exercises aim to improve the reaction capacity of the aeronautical personnel in various tactical scenarios, as well as to strengthen the training under real flight conditions.
“The aircraft of the Romanian Air Force will execute, between 03.06–10.06.2025, training flights at small heights, as well as supersonic flights (…), taking all the aerial safety measures and reducing the sound impact on the civilian population”is shown in a statement sent on Tuesday, June 3, by the Romanian Air Force.
Authorities give assurances that measures will be taken to limit the sound discomfort produced by these operations and recommend citizens to take into account the possible noise intensification at certain time.
The Romanian Air Force will defend the national and ally aircraft with F-16 aircraft
The Minister of Defense, Angel Tîlvăvă, announced in March 2025 that the Romanian Air Force will defend, soon, the national and ally air space with three squadrs endowed with F-16 fighter jets, arranged on three air bases.
“The completion of this modernization stage will allow, soon, to the Romanian Air Force to carry out missions to define the national and ally air space with three squadrs endowed with F-16 fighter jets on three air bases”, the minister transmitted.
