Zbigniew Ziobro attacked the opposition leader from Hungary. “Do you want to go the same way?”

The leader of the Hungarian opposition, Peter Magyar, met on Friday during the Munich Security Conference (MSC) with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, Donald Tusk, with whom he discussed, among other things, cooperation to end the war between Russia and Ukraine. “Long live Polish-Hungarian friendship!” – Magyar wrote on Facebook.
What did Zbigniew Ziobro write to Peter Magyar?
What were the topics of Magyar's meeting with Tusk?
What election promises did Donald Tusk make?
Why does Ziobro want Orban to stay in power?
Prime Minister Donald Tusk also announced the meeting in a Friday entry on the X platform. “Some people wanted to turn Warsaw into Budapest. Today, Budapest wants to be like Warsaw,” wrote the Prime Minister and attached a photo from the meeting, in the background you can also see the Deputy Prime Minister, the head of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Radosław Sikorski.
Zbigniew Ziobro writes to the leader of the Hungarian opposition. “Do you really want to go down the same path?”
Zbigniew Ziobro commented on these events. The PiS politician received asylum in Budapest in connection with proceedings conducted by the Polish prosecutor's office regarding the Justice Fund. The leader of the opposition TISZA party, Peter Magyar, announced that if Viktor Orban's government is removed from power, Ziobro will not be able to count on further favor from Hungary.
It is therefore hardly surprising that Ziobro hopes that the current Hungarian Prime Minister will remain in power. For this reason, the attacks on Magyar are not surprising. “Peter, did you tell the Hungarians the whole truth? Did you tell them that today – thanks to Viktor Orbán's policy – energy prices in Hungary are three times lower than in Poland during Tusk's rule? Have you described what Poland actually looks like after two years of his rule? That before the elections he promised lower energy prices, and now they are rising at an alarming rate? He swore that taxes would be reduced immediately – and now he increases them? Are Polish entrepreneurs drowning in a wave of bankruptcies? Under Tusk's rule, youth unemployment in Poland is growing almost the fastest in Europe. Have you told them how disappointed those who believed in his election promises are today? – Ziobro asked in his post on X.
“Because it's easy to fly around Europe, meet your friends from the European People's Party, show perfect smiles for the cameras and enjoy the applause. It's much harder later to look your people in the eye – when the bills are skyrocketing, taxes are rising, and all those shiny promises turn out to be nothing more than empty slogans,” the former Minister of Justice continued.
“Do you really want to follow the same path? Because it means that you will feed Hungarians the same beautiful fairy tales, but in fact it is only about following Brussels' orders,” Zbigniew Ziobro concluded his post.
