What a witness to the incident said

Harry Rashid, 48, from Solihull, was at the parade with his wife and their two daughters when he was witness to collision.

“It happened about 3 meters away from us (…).

“It was extremely fast. Initially, I only heard a pole, a pole, the pole, from the people who were hit by the hood of a car,” he added.

The man said that people in the incident area tried to break the car windows.

“The crowd that was a little behind began to crumble on him trying to break his windows. But then he put his foot in the pedal again and simply pierced the rest, he simply continued,” Harry Rashid said.
