Santa Claus arrives at the Christmas Fair in Constitution Square on Saturday, at 5:00 p.m., informs Bucharest City Hall (PMB).
Visitors to the fair will be able to receive as a gift, between December 13 and 24, an instant photo with Santa Claus.
“The festive season began with the opening of the Bucharest Christmas Market, and one of the most anticipated moments of the month is the arrival of Santa Claus, on December 13, at 5:00 p.m., in the Constitution Square, bringing excitement and magic to children and parents alike. As soon as he enters his house, Santa Claus will be greeted by carols, warm lights and cheerful elves. Until Eve, he will welcome the little ones with open arms, offering them gifts, so that every visit is an unforgettable experience”, according to a press release from PMB, quoted by Agerpres.
Schedule of meetings with Santa Claus:
- December 14, 20 and 21: 10:00-13:00 / 17:00-21:00;

Santa's house has an area of over 100 square meters and is decorated by hand, and the elves help the little ones to leave the letters for Santa and discover the surprises specially prepared for them.
“At the fair, carolers, 120 craft booths, lights, decorations and seasonal treats await. Visitors of all ages can venture on a number of attractions: the carousel, roller coaster, Ferris wheel, Flying Sleigh and Santa's Express.” The atmosphere is completed by the music on the two stages of the fair. On the main stage, ensembles, carolers, children's choirs, established artists and famous bands go up, and on the urban stage, in the shape of a huge lantern, several DJs mix national and international songs”, the quoted source mentions.
On Saturday, after Santa's arrival, concerts will be held by Alina Sorescu and Picii lu” Soreasca, Far Away From Earth, VUNK and IRIS – Cristi Minculescu, Valter & Boro, and on Sunday – Daniel Lazăr, Ioana Uruc, Jo, Bere Gratis and Voltaj.
