On May 22, an international day of biological diversity is noted, designed to draw attention to the need to preserve the wealth of the species diversity of flora and fauna.

The preservation of biodiversity is one of the key tasks of Rosneft and its subsidiary of the RN-VAVKOR. The latter implements a large-scale grant program, supporting scientific and applied projects aimed at studying and protecting rare species of animals and plants in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The oil industry workers of the RN-VAYKOR supported the projects to create a teaching aid on the key bioindicator of the Arctic ecosystems-wild northern deer Taimyr, studying the modern state of the Pilzyk population on the peninsula, as well as the study of the state and well-being of the population of the main fishing fish of Taimyr reservoirs.
