Deputy Prime Minister Tanczos Barna (UDMR) said on Wednesday night, on B1 TV, that CFR Călatori Traian Preoteasa should look “a bit of humility”, referring to the revenues of 11,000 euros a month with which he has recently praised.
Asked about the income of 11,000 euros of the director of CFR, Tanczos Barna said: “You need a bit of humility”.
“I understand from our colleagues in the Ministry of Transport that” working by crack “, I quote from a message today. I can also admit that it is difficult to lead CFR Călaturi and I am convinced that the director even works, but that does not mean that we boast with the salary we have.”
Deputy Prime Minister Tanzcos Barna (UDMR) said on Wednesday night that the efficiency of state companies must take into account several aspects, one of them being strategic companies.
“The companies that act on a competitive market must be treated differently. We have a few strategic and there the state must take care of those companies. Nuclearelectrica, for example, a company that is on profit, a company that ensures the country's future energy through the investments it makes.
Tanczos Barna also referred to Hidroelectrica, the state company with the highest profit. “In a competitive market, Hidroelectrica made over 4 billion lei profit and turned over 3 billion. In the counterparty there are companies living in subsidies. They are strategic, that you cannot say that CFR is not strategic, but you cannot boast about the salary you have.
CFR Călători chief: “I have over 11,000 euros per month”
Traian Preoteasa was asked, in a press conference on June 19, about his declaration of wealth and how he can afford to pay a monthly rate for an apartment in Dubai.
“In the conception of some, the state employees must be poor for the land. I am not poor. I do not have 5,000 euros per month, I have 4,000 euros only on the rent in Dubai. I have over 11,000 euros per month (…) If you take the income, I have over 11,000 euros per month and I do not pay any rate. You pay rates per year, not the month, there is no monthly rate and money is drawn depending on the builder's achievements.
He was asked how he allowed his second apartment in Dubai in an exclusive area, given that he is a state employee. “What does state employee mean? I have to die of hunger?”, Said CFR Călatori.
He was also asked how he made these investments under the conditions in which CFR Călaturi risks to be incapacitated. “What is the connection is between the inability to pay CFR Călaturi and my apartments in Dubai? (…) Do you have my income in the declaration of wealth,” said Traian Preoteasa.
