The Ministry of Culture of Russia will prohibit the rental of films that propagate Childfri from September 1, 2025. Such measures will be valid until September 1, 2030.
According to the publication of Yamal 1, the changes were made to the point that determines the grounds for refusing to issue a rental certificate. A direct ban on the propaganda of rejection of childbearing has been added to it.
Recall that in November 2024, Russia adopted a law banning the propaganda of Childfri. The violation will be punished with a fine of up to 400 thousand rubles for citizens, up to 800 thousand rubles for officials, up to 5 million rubles for legal entities.
