The event participants discussed issues of interdepartmental cooperation and minimizing seasonal risks. The high alert regime will be in effect in the region from December 31 to January 11. Rescuers and police will strengthen control over the areas where mass events will take place. Also in the area of close attention will be federal and regional highways, the situation on which will be monitored using video cameras. Special equipment and duty teams are ready to respond to changes in the road situation. Stationary heating and medical aid stations are equipped on the main transport routes.
Infrastructure and energy facilities are moving into “silence mode”: planned repair work is now suspended and will only be carried out in emergency cases. A special schedule has been created for on-duty utility services, resource supply organizations and regional operators to ensure a prompt response to any emergency situations. Mikhail Kotyukov noted that due to the increased load during the holidays, it is necessary to ensure the uninterrupted operation of all life support facilities.
A work plan for the region's healthcare institutions has been approved. Residents will receive full medical care. On days of difficult weather conditions in the region, if necessary, the duty teams in emergency rooms and surgical departments will be strengthened. Territorial leaders and social protection specialists are advised to take special care of large families and the elderly.
Summing up the meeting, the governor emphasized that daily clear interaction should be organized between all structures. Despite serious preparatory work, all regional departments and local teams need to remain prepared for any emergency situations.
