EXCLUSIVE. Survey. How many votes do Nicușor Dan and George Simion take from the PSD, PNL and UDMR voters

The general mayor of the capital would get the most votes among PNL and UDMR voters, while George Simion is almost completely attracting the votes of supporters can and SOS Romania, an Atlas Intel survey showed on May 13-15, 2025 for Hotnews. Atlasintel correctly anticipated the result of the local elections in Bucharest, from last year, when Nicușor Dan won a new term of mayor, but in the last poll before the first round of the presidential, Atlas Intel quoted on the gold leader at 30.2%, although he would win at a big difference, with almost 41%.

  • The Atlasintel survey was conducted on a sample of 5,628 respondents, by the random digital recruitment method (Atlas RDR). The survey has a margin of error ± 1 percentage points, has a level of 95% and includes the vote in the diaspora.

The independent Nicușor Dan has a slight advance in front of George Simion, shows the data of an opinion poll conducted by the Atlasintel Institute for Hotnews on May 13-15.

Nicușor Dan points out in the ranks of PSD voters

Atlasintel data shows that Nicușor Dan would take 65.1% of the votes of those who voted with PSD in last year's parliamentary elections, while George Simion would have voted for 29.1%. Regarding the PNL electorate, Nicușor Dan – 90.2%, and George Simion – 8.5%. The UDMR voters choose 95.1% of Nicușor Dan compared to 1.1% who opt for Simion.

The voters can choose in an overwhelming proportion on the golden candidate – 93.2%, compared to 6.2% – Nicușor Dan, the voters of SOS Romania: 84.9% – Simion compared to 8.6% for Nicușor Dan.
