A shocking incident took place in Seattle on Christmas Day, when a man stole a patrol car from a lieutenant of the Washington State Police (Washington State Patrol).
The theft was caught on a surveillance camera, and in the images obtained by TMZ. The man is seen nonchalantly crossing a busy freeway in Seattle when he comes into the frame and the police car, which stops when it notices the individual in the roadway.

The man moved around a bit, looking disoriented, then headed towards the police car, and when the police officer behind the wheel opened the door, the man rushed to the driver's door and forced her out, pinning her to the ground. Then he quickly got behind the wheel and sped off.
The incident was followed by an intense police chase, which ended after WSP officers stopped the car and arrested the man, according to TMZ.
In a statement to TMZ, Washington State Police Trooper Rick Johnson said the lieutenant seen in the video was not injured and will not be charged for the incident, which happened just before noon on Christmas Day.
