FAN Courier, the largest courier company in the country, estimates for Black Friday 2025 an increase in delivery volumes by more than 20% compared to the same period last year.
The company says it began preparations for the Black Friday campaign this summer and has increased its automated sorting capacity to 2.2 million parcels per day.
Prior to the start of the discount campaign, FAN Courier has expanded its workforce so that it now operates with over 9,000 employees and has increased its automated sorting and parcel processing capacity.
The fixed point delivery network has also been expanded to around 5,500 locations, more than half of which are FANbox lockers, the company says.
The FANbox network, which will exceed 3,000 units installed nationwide, is complemented by more than 2,000 other drop-off and pick-up points, Collect Points or FAN Courier offices.
“Although the local e-commerce market started the year with a more moderate pace, against the background of heightened caution on the part of consumers, in the second part of the year we see a return of the appetite for online shopping. Therefore, we expect an intense Black Friday, with a volume of deliveries more than 20% higher than the same period last year, and our estimates, although they seem cautious, are based on the concrete discussions we have had for months with our retail partners”. says Adrian Mihai, CEO of Fan Courier.
