The final result of the first election round, published by the bulb. Over 140,000 votes were canceled

The Central Electoral Bureau (BEC) presented, on Tuesday evening, the final result of the first poll of presidential elections. More than 140,000 votes were canceled.

According to the bulb, the gold candidate, George Simion, obtained 40.96%of the validly expressed votes, the independent candidate Nicuşor Dan – 20.99%, followed by the candidate of the “Romania before” alliance, Crin Antonescu – 20.07%.
Thus, the total number of voters who presented at the ballot box is 9,571,899, representing 53.19% of the total number of voters registered in the permanent electoral lists. The total valid votes expressed is 9,430,274, representing 98.52% of the total number of voters who showed up at the ballot box.
In total, there were 141,388 votes, representing 1.48% of the total number of voters who appeared at the polls.
The situation of the votes obtained by the candidates is as follows:
1. George-Nicolae Simion obtained 3,862,761 validly expressed votes, representing 40.96% of the total valid votes expressed;
2. Nicuşor-Daniel Dan obtained 1,979,767 validly expressed votes, representing 20.99% of the total valid votes expressed;
3. George-Crin-Laurentiu Antonescu obtained 1,892,930 validly expressed votes, representing 20.07% of the total validly expressed votes;
4. Victor-Viorel Ponta obtained 1,230.164 validly expressed votes, representing 13.04% of the total valid votes expressed;

6. Marcela-Lavinia Şandru obtained 60,682 validly expressed votes, representing 0.64% of the total valid votes expressed;
7. Petru-Daniel Funeriu obtained 49,604 validly expressed votes, representing 0.53% of the total valid votes expressed;
8. Cristian-Vasile Terheş obtained 36,445 validly expressed votes, representing 0.39% of the total valid votes expressed;
9. Sebastian-Constantin Popescu obtained 25,994 validly expressed votes, representing 0.28% of the total valid votes expressed;
10. John-Ion Banu-Muscel obtained 22,020 validly expressed votes, representing 0.23% of the total valid votes expressed;
11. Silviu Predoiu obtained 17,186 validly expressed votes, representing 0.18% of the total validly expressed votes, BEC reports, in a press release.
