Strong fire at Autobaza Ferentari: Two STB buses were completely destroyed by flames. The police were notified

Two Mercedes Citaro buses in the STB fleet were destroyed by a fire that broke out on the night of September 1 at Autobaza Ferentari, the company constituting a technical commission to establish the causes of the incident. The Capital Police was notified.

The buses were raised at 9:50 pm, respectively 22:30, when they were withdrawn from the circulation, and the fire, which completely destroyed the means of transport, broke out at 2:20, according to sources within the STB.

The means of public transport are among the oldest belonging to the STB fleet, namely Mercedes Benz Citaro Euro 4.

Following this incident, the Bucharest Transport Company (STB) constituted a technical commission to find out the causes of the fire. At the same time, the Capital Police also started an investigation in this regard.

The technical revisions of the buses were up to date, with the withdrawal of the route and the daily review was performed (without problems signaled).
