ROMANIATV receives a new sanction with the suspension of emission for 10 minutes

The National Audiovisual Council decided on Friday to sanction the Romanian television with the 10 -minute suspension of the broadcast for the statements during the Thursday evening edition of the show “Culminating Point”, moderated by Victor Ciutacu, reports the Media Page.
During the ten minutes of sanction, the television station will have to stop the shows that broadcast in normal regime and broadcast for 10 minutes, in prime time, the text of the sanction from the CNA.
The CNA also sanctioned on April 24 Romania TV with the suspension of the broadcast for the reports on Crin Antonescu in which the candidate of the ruling coalition is listed as a “founder” and about the Nordis scandal in which the television stated that Sorin Grindeanu and Laura Vicol have an intimate relationship.
Why is Româniatv accused
According to the CNA monitoring report, Dragoş Bistriceanu, Romania TV journalist, presented in the show, unclear accusations and images suggest that Alfred Simonis, PSD politician, would have been involved in sexual orgies and drug parties in Rapps villas. He also cited an anonymous message that describes an internal revolt in the PSD against Crin Antonescu, with local leaders who support Victor Ponta.
Throughout the show, Româniatv tried to link the accusations to the candidate Crin Antonescu. “We immediately have the images that shake these choices. The politicians of the system, with empty women on their knees. They have fun with little girls, while the people suffer. The man of voting, without limits. Women naked and white powders in the rapps villas. The pawns of Crin, the high school students and the prostitute,” said Victor.
“The sexually harassed assistant by Mihai Tudose or at least who accuses, ladies and gentlemen, returns to the wallpaper. We also talk about the focus on Crin Antonescu's couch. Grindeanu promoted the focosa from Crin,” the moderator continued.
How television appears
“Last night's show from Romania TV, the climax, was an election debate show and which fit perfectly in the landscape built by candidates on the last day of the election campaign,” said Roxana Niculescu, programs director on Romania TV.
She accused the CNA of not analyzing with the same haste and the reports on televisions about the photos published on Thursday evening by Elena Lasconi about an alleged meeting between Nicușor Dan, Victor Ponta and Florian Coldea.
“I notice that, in fact, in all this monitoring does not appear with the truly important photographs for the way in which this last day of the election campaign will be held and what awaits us or not. If this celery for these photos, for this information and for the fact that we presented Mr. Mihai Tudose, as in Mr. Simonis to intervene in one form or another, can I understand to one point.
“What happened was a clear manipulation”
At today's meeting, the members announced that they have self-identified and asked for a line monitoring to see how all the posts published by Elena Lasconi showed Nicuşor Dan and Victor Ponta presented, but they will be analyzed in a future meeting as there is a larger volume of shows.
“Mrs. Niculescu, I give you justice in a sense, and I was surprised by the celery. But now, seeing the head-tail material, I can say that the attempt to exclude the desire to involve Crin Antonescu is not very sustainable because it is clear from how the problem and especially from the burners and all the others,” it was a member.
“I do not see any connection between the burners and less the comments of those in the studio and reality. Let us be extremely honest with this. It is clear that it has an electoral impact and I think that it has justified the question how there are other issues from other positions that I hope to be discussed as quickly. I'm sorry and I'm disappointed, ”he said.
Following the viewing of the show fragments, the members made two sanctioning proposals: the 10 -minute emission supersing, proposed by Valentin Jucan, and a fine of 100,000 lei, the proposal of Georgică Severin. Finally, Romania TV was sanctioned with turning the broadcast for 10 minutes.
