FCSB won the championship after the draw between Craiova University and CFR Cluj, score 2-2, in the number eight of the Superligi play-off. As a champion of Romania, FCSB will go to the preliminary round of the UEFA Champions League, as in the 2024/2025 season, reports digisport.ro.
The red-blue group will be in the ballot box, along with Ludogorets (Bulgaria), Malmo (Sweden) and RFS (Latvia), among others. FCSB will be among the favorites in round 2, if they qualify, but then it will be part of the outsider's urn, which will bring more difficult opponents.
However, Gigi Becali is convinced that his team will reach at least in the UCL play-off, a performance that could bring him 15 million euros.
