The Russian Armed Forces are preparing a response after attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region with ATACMS missiles, the Russian Ministry of Defense said. The main thing from the department’s statement:
— On November 23, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired five ATACMS missiles in the area of the village of Lotarevka at the position of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile division, three missiles were destroyed, two reached the target.
— On November 25, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the Kursk-Vostochny airfield with ATACMS missiles, seven missiles were shot down, one reached the target. Two soldiers were slightly injured from falling rocket fragments.
— When examining the places that were attacked in the Kursk region, it was confirmed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched attacks with American-made ATACMS missiles.
Judging by the published footage, one of the missiles fell near the position of the Pantsir-S1 air defense system, which is visible in the background. As we wrote earlier, Ukrainians from the city of Konotop, Sumy region, worked.
