The Minister of Economic Development of Russia visited the Krasnoyarsk “square”

The Minister of Economic Development of the country Maxim Reshetnikov came to Krasnoyarsk. Together with the governor of the region Mikhail Kotyukov, he visited the SFU and talked with the residents of the creative cluster “Square”.

The main infrastructure facility of creative entrepreneurship of the region was created on the squares of the former Kvant plant in the city center. It contains offices, workshops, event venues, coworking and non -personnel for more than 30 residents. The creative cluster allows them to use expensive equipment and exchange knowledge. Also in the cluster there is a showroom of Siberian brands “Industry”. More than 200 masters have already become its residents.

Maxim Reshetnikov held a meeting on the development of a creative economy in the country in the “square”. Reloading the industry was instructed by the president. It is important not only to maintain priorities that have proved the effectiveness, but to begin to build a state policy in this area so that the business can develop with the support of the state, understanding the planning and prospects horizon.

“The Ministry of Economic Development takes an active part in this work. Therefore, it is extremely important for us to communicate with business, feedback. Moreover, in regions such as Krasnoyarsk, where there is an experience in the development of creative industries. I looked today how the cluster works. A good example of synergy of a creative and economic approach to the development of a creative business, which received support at the regional level. There should be more such growth points in the regions – at the junction of creativity, production, innovation, ”said Maxim Reshetnikov.

The governor of the region Mikhail Kotyukov recalled that the region received the national prize last year as the most creative region. In these conditions, the task of the regional leadership is to help creative people implement their plans, to adjust the state support system for this.

“For us, this is an important project. The guys are more and more, the teams are growing. As usual, the success of the pioneers inspires those who follow them, ”said Mikhail Kotyukov.

Now the contribution of creative industries in the Grace of the region is more than 140 billion rubles, the amount of taxes of this sphere since 2019 has increased by 62%. More than 43 thousand people are employed in the creative business in the region. Revenue leaders among creative industries are IT, gastronomy, performing arts, advertising and architecture.

The meeting participants noted that it is important to synchronize the federal and regional regulatory framework, including for providing support measures. In Krasnoyarsk, an effective system for supporting and supporting creative projects has already been built, starting from idea to commercialization and sales, companies have been given the opportunity for cooperation and joint projects. This experience should be transferred to colleagues in other regions.

Representatives of the Krasnoyarsk Territory told the minister on issues for the solution of which it is necessary to change the legislation at the federal level. In particular, we are talking about preferences for creative clusters, expanding support measures and preferential taxation for creative industry entities.

The experience and initiatives of the Krasnoyarsk Territory will be taken into account by the Ministry of Economy of Russia in the formation of a strategy for the development of creative industries, which will help to form measures to support the creative business, the training system for it.
