Donald Tusk after meeting with the Prime Minister of Italy. Announces a new treaty

After the meeting with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, the head of the Polish government added that “our two countries deserve such relations at the highest possible level.” — It was with great satisfaction that I heard from the Prime Minister that Italy, and of course Poland and I, too, are ready for serious negotiations that should end with a new treaty, Tusk said.
— We will certainly sign more than one agreement along the way, also regarding, for example, the common defense policy. Poland understands the problem of the South very well, it is not our problem in the physical sense, but we understand very well that Italy and other countries need full solidarity and support, especially when it comes to illegal immigration, but also other threats related to such hybrid aggression, of which we are all victims, emphasized the Polish Prime Minister.
