End of the MFA dispute with the President's Chancellery? The new rules are already in force


– It was needed and it was good that it happened – said prosecution during a press conference organized right after the talks. The meeting was attended by, among others Deputy head of Polish diplomacy Marcin Bosacki and the General Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Rafał Wiśniewski.
Copies, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Chancellery of the President, talked about the need for “coordination and cooperation” in foreign policy. He noted that such cooperation is “not only advisable but also needed”. He also expressed the belief that similar activities would continue in the coming weeks and months.
As a result of the meeting, the rules regarding the transfer of relevant documents and information materials between the two institutions were established. When taking care of observing the principles arising from the Constitution, materials prepared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including positions and studies, will be forwarded to the President's Office. Makingly, however, noted that these materials, if the government deems appropriate, may also take into account the position of the Council of Ministers.
The head of the presidential BMP, however, cut himself off from the suggestion that these positions could be treated as instructions for the president. – In no way can it be treated, as it appeared from the mouths of government representatives as any instruction. It is simply a position that can be taken into account – he explained.
